Warangal Rural: Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Errabelli Dayakar Rao has called upon the teachers in the government schools to rededicate themselves to the noble cause of the education. He asserted that the quality of education in government schools is better than private schools. He was addressing the teacher’s day programme organised by the Warangal Rural district administration here on Thursday..

Speaking on the occasion, Dayakar Rao said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is giving high priority to the education in the State and also increased the residential schools from 290 to 959 in the last five years.

“The government will stand by the teachers and resolve their issues,” he added.

MPs Banda Prakash, Pasunuri Dayakar Rao, MLAs Peddi Sudharshan Reddy, Challa Dharma Reddy, ZP Chairperson Gandra Jyothi, KUDA chairman Marri Yadava Reddy and District Collector M Haritha also spoke at the programme. Later, best teacher awardees have been felicitated.
Best performing teachers felicitated

Mancherial: District Collector Bharati Hollikeri asserted that only teachers could drive the society on a good path. She was speaking at Teacher’s Day celebrated here on Thursday. She along with MLC Puranam Satheesh Kumar felicitated best performing teachers of the district and then addressed a gathering.

Bharati opined that teaching was a noble profession and teachers could transform lives of students. One can achieve higher goals and can become eminent personalities with help of a teacher and teachers working with government schools would provide quality education.

The IAS officer stated that the government was striving hard to improve infrastructure of the State-run educational institutions to ensure better education. She feted the best teachers by giving mementos and shawls. She congratulated them and told other teachers to draw inspiration from awardees..
