Hyderabad: Not only adults, even school-going children are telling the success tales of Telangana and testifying the progress they have witnessed in their villages. A video featuring a school girl has caught the eye of netizens and is doing rounds on social media. Through the video, a girl named Gayathri Naik from Solipur village in Wanaparthy is seen explaining the changes that took place in her village after the formation of Telangana..



For her school science project, this Class IV girl took up an innovative project and used a model of her village to showcase the state of her village before 2014 and how it has been changed since then. In the 140-second-long video, the girl explains that the water bodies in her village were revived with the TRS government focusing on Kalwakurthy Lift Irrigation Project and water entered the village through Buddharam Right Canal.

She says, with the canal water, now there is a scope to take up cultivation on over 1,000 acres. Gayathri adds that with a significant growth of agriculture in her village, other sectors like dairy which are related to agriculture are in a progressive path.

This girl from Gouthami Vidyalayam thanked Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and State Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, who is also contesting as MLA from Wanaparthy in the ensuing elections, for the remarkable change..
