Hyderabad: MA&UD Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar accompanied a team of officials inspected the 20 MLD Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) at Khairatabad on Friday. He went around the plant and reviewed the performance and facilities created for the Hussain Sagar Lake to improve water quality of the lake.Arvind Kumar observed that one of the tertiary treatment units of the STP i.e. membrane filtration was not working for the last one-and-a-half year and the monitoring system Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) was also not being used because of maintenance issues. .
